How to use Danolyte® Disinfectant + Sanitiser

Danolyte is for external use only. Use it to disinfect, sanitise and deodorise your skin on exposed body parts or any hard, non-porous surface. (Do not use it to wash food or other edible items.) 

To sanitise Non-Food Contact Surfaces

(Examples: floors, walls, doors, windows, furniture, various appliance surfaces, gadgets, tools and toys)

  1. For heavily soiled surfaces or areas, do a preliminary cleaning first before applying Danolyte.
  2. Spray Danolyte directly to the surface or apply it with a mop, sponge or dampened cloth.
  3. Treated surfaces must remain wet for 2 minutes before being wiped down or polished.
  4. However, for best results, allow surfaces to air dry instead. No rinsing is required.

To disinfect Food-Contact Surfaces

(Examples: Refrigerator, kitchen sink, food prep counter, chopping board, and glass or ceramic storage bins) 

  1. Remove all fresh produce, food ingredients and soft packaging materials before cleaning or sanitising.  
  2. Do a preliminary cleaning. Wash, wipe or rinse surfaces or items with detergent and water.
  3. Then apply the Danolyte disinfecting solution. You may spray Danolyte directly onto a surface or apply it with a Danolyte-dampened cloth, mop, or sponge. For smaller waterproof objects (with no sensitive electronics or wires), you may immerse them in Danolyte.
  4. Let stand for 1 minute. Then wipe dry with a clean towel or allow the surface or item to air dry (no rinsing is required). 

To Sanitise and Deodorise

(For any indoor room or partially-covered area at home, work or a public space.)

  • Danolyte Disinfectant + Sanitiser is safe for everyday use in your atomisers, foggers and humidifiers. Add 1 part of Danolyte to every 1.5 parts of the liquid (purified water) in your device.    
  • Danolyte is also perfect for cleaning and disinfecting air conditioner filters.

Storage, Usage Safety And Disposal

  • Store Danolyte at room temperature away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep out of reach of children.
  • Because Danolyte’s active ingredient is 0.02% hypochlorous acid, it is biodegradable. Do not use it as a sanitiser or disinfectant past its expiry date. (Use only within 6 months after the manufacture date.) You may discard or flush expired or unused liquids.    
  • Discontinue use if any irritation occurs and contact your doctor immediately for treatment.  
  • Danolyte containers are reusable. Refill them with the same product only. Do not reuse containers for any other purpose.
